Nyah Sees Color For The First Time
Nyah, an Ohio teenager, has been colorblind since birth and has never experienced color properly until now. Thanks to a group of generous friends and the incredible technology of EnChroma, Nyah can now live life full color! I’m so glad I got to be a small part of this! See her experience color for the first time and our presentation of her own glasses in this video.

Speaking in Nicaragua

I had one of the greatest privileges of my life while in Nicaragua. I got to speak to 200 addicts living at a Drug Rehab Center in the mountains of Nicaragua. We attended their church service and what an amazing experience it was to watch these beautiful people celebrating a God they are finding freedom in. I was honored to briefly speak a message of encouragement to them.

I can only imagine all of the colorblind people throughout history who missed out on Enchroma color glasses.
My late father in-law was color blind, how I wish I could have gotten him a pair of these glasses so that he would have been able to see color before he died

When a blind man can suddenly see black and white images clearly this will be his ultra happiness. But when he starts to see colour, it will be his extreme happiness. He may not survive when his heart have to cope up with his high and fast blood pumping pressure.

So why do they bring these people to single color environments for the reveal?
The balloon's are a good idea, But for people who have never seen colour, An idea would be write the colour on to the balloons, So that they know what they are looking at.
My first child, I first found out that he was color blind when he was 7 years old. When I heard that there were glasses for color blind people, I tried to set aside funds to buy them color blind glasses. Now he is 26 years old, yet I still can't afford to buy him. Even after I am getting older now, I no longer have a job after an accident in 2011 ... I am really happy to see her can have glasses for color blindness .... God bless you all....
No one should set aside money for these. They should be covered by insurance. Hope you were able to get these for your son
@@zendog8888 work with Health Insurance for the Whole 23 years. not in our country, NO coverage for color blind, .........even aku menanti old/used colorblind glasses..
@@zendog8888 I have no job anymore, because my backbone accident in 2013, now have no revenue, nor any health insurence
@@adhbadoang1086 I'm sorry you have to go through that. That is ridiculous. I'm sure they wouldn't cover it because it's considered "cosmetic" like they did when I got Lasik. But how is making your vision cosmetic? You are improving your quality of life. Not your looks. Our health care system is crap.

There are other areas of life where we all have a kind of blindness, that if were revealed to us, we'd be moved to tears.

It's so amazing to me that they get so emotional seeing a brand new color for the first time. Obviously being color blind is detrimental and I wish no one had to go through it but I do wish I could experience seeing a new color for the first time

I can’t stop feeling sad about the people that try on their friends/family’s enchroma glasses and see’s color but then they have to give the glasses back,especially if they cannot afford a pair. Because imagine seeing the world as it truly is then having to go back to you’re dull reality.
